Cincy Magazine Honors Mazak With Manufacturing Excellence Award

Florence, Kentucky, June 23, 2011 – Cincy, the magazine for business
professionals, has recognized Mazak Corporation as one of 15 Greater
Cincinnati/Tristate companies that have shown outstanding manufacturing
success.
Mazak was awarded the esteemed Manny Award at the 5th Annual Manny
Awards banquet, held on June 6, at the Cintas Center at Xavier
University, celebrating manufacturing excellence.

An independent panel selected Mazak under the Award’s “Biggest
Breakthrough” category. The award was based on Mazak’s growth in the
community, its strong involvement in area training programs, aggressive
hiring at its Florence, Kentucky, manufacturing facility, and on the
company’s solid economic rebound.

Mazak reported record levels of business for the opening months of 2011.
And that momentum continues at a steady pace as the year progresses.
