One of our latest advancements for high volume production is the IVS Inverted Vertical Spindle series of machines. This unique design has extremely high accuracy due to x-axis feedback and ball screw core cooling. Machine automation can be configured to your requirements. Connect two IVS machines to complete first and second processes. We can supply the automation, material handling, tooling and gauging for a complete turnkey system. All this combined in a compact footprint with maximum accessibility for part and tool setups.

This Multi-Tasking, dual-spindle machine makes the Multiplex a smart choice for mid-sized lot production. You can use both spindles to machine the front and back side of your parts, including milling, for Done-In-One, single-setup production. Thanks to identical performance of both spindles, you can also use them to simultaneously cut two parts at one time. Their synchronized rotation delivers high-accuracy for operations like shaft work. Plus, there are many options available for unmanned production like bar feeders, cut feeders and gantry robots.

Mazak’s Super Quadrex Series offers the capability of simultaneous cutting with two opposed turrets. This 4-axis, high production design can increase throughput for mass production applications of longer shaft work, or as a chucker. Super Quadrex also offers a live spindle for secondary drilling and milling operations on the centerline.

Designed for large workpieces, the Cybertech Turn has the rigidity and horsepower for heavy-duty cutting with Multi-Tasking capabilities for big-part machining. Now you can turn, mill, drill and tap in a single setup. It also does deep boring up to 40”. The Cybertech Turn is a brute of a machine, yet ergonomically designed with tools highly visible. It’s easy to setup and program. An optional pipe re-threading program calculates positions and performs re-threading in a few simple steps.

Mazak’s Slant Turn CNC lathe, with an up to 15-station tool turret, is engineered for heavy duty cutting of large workpieces up to 33″ in diameter. It has a massive, rigid wide slant bed with a machine weight ranging from 10 to 13 tons. With a three geared spindle motor, heavy cutting is available at any speed. Large spindle bore capacity makes this machine a real workhorse for the oil services industry.

These are some of the biggest turning centers on the market today. Designed for heavy duty cutting of large workpieces, the M-5 and Powermaster have a flat-bed construction for easy access to your part. Plus, both have big, hollow bore capacity for large diameter pipes.

HYPER VARIAXIS 630 Multi-surface, simultaneous 5-axis machining center 

The HYPER VARIAXIS 630 is an advanced 5-axis Multi-Tasking machining center that continues the company’s philosophy of Done-In-One manufacturing. The machine is the first to incorporate a revolutionary design by Ken Okuyama, a world-famous industrial designer.

The HYPER VARIAXIS 630 incorporates the most advanced technology available to provide unparalleled performance. Linear roller guides are used on the X-, Y- and Z-axes, ensuring high-accuracy positioning and rapid traverse rates of 262.5 ft/min. A 150-degree tilting trunnion (A-axis) carries a full 360-degree rotating table (C-Axis) to enable complete machining of parts in a single setup.

The new Mazak MX Hybrid Roller Guide System is integrated into the HYPER VARIAXIS 630 to deliver levels of durability and reliability that result in long-term accuracy. The Mazak MX Hybrid Roller Guide System increases vibration dampening to extend tool life, handles higher load capacities, accelerates and decelerates quicker to shorten cycle times, consumes less oil for “Greener” operations, and lasts longer with less required maintenance.

The sixth-generation Mazak MATRIX CNC is capable of full five-axis machine control and of processing the massive amounts of data associated with sculptured surfaces and fine details. It provides high computing speed from its 64-bit, twin-engine CPU to support sub-micron resolution and program sizes up to 8MB. A popular option is MAZACC-3D software for generating the finest, most accurate surfaces on critical parts. This extensive look-ahead feature in Mazak MATRIX recognizes severe changes in machining direction on-the-fly and optimizes the acceleration and deceleration parameters to maintain accuracy and surface finish integrity.
